Instrument Panel

I am responsible for planning the avionics, electrical components, and wiring of the panel, which was produced by Midwets Panel Builders based on this artwork.

Current Panel Layout

Garmin offers affordable remote com radios such as the GTR 20, priced at around $1000. However, they cannot be used in Europe due to the lack of 8.33kHz channel spacing. Another consideration for European builders is the absence of an ADS-B mandate. To reliably detect traffic, I recommend using the Lynx NGT-9000+ transponder and ADS-B receiver, along with the NY164 directional antenna from Sensorantennas. This setup can detect the positions of Mode-S or Mode-C transponders (without ADS-B) for TCAS-I functionality.
