Instrument Panel

Garmin has nice and cheap remote com radios like the GTR 20 (~ $1000). Unfortunately these can’t be used in Europe because they don’t offer 8.33kHz channel spacing. Another factor for European builders ist the not existing ADS-B mandate. For reliable traffic information you have to use ADS-B, FLARM and simple Mode-S transponders without position information. My solution for this is the Lynx NGT-9000+ transponder and ADS-B receiver. With an extra directional antenna NY164 from Sonsorantennas the NGT-9000 is able to detect the position of Mode-S or Mode-C transponders for TCAS-I functionality.
